Plastic Injection moulding is the most commonly used manufacturing process for the fabrication of plastic parts, by injecting molten plastic material into a mould. A wide variety of products are manufactured using injection moulding, which vary greatly in their size, complexity, and application, from smallest parts to entire body panels of cars. Plastic injection moulding can be performed with most commonly thermoplastic and thermosetting polymers.
Parts to be injection moulded goes through mould flow analysis, to facilitate mould design, selection of polymer to be used and to obtain desired shape and features of the parts.
